Two Months Old and Counting

I cannot believe our little man is two months old already.  Liam turned two months old about 13 days ago, but we didn't have his official check up until this week.  His stats are 23 inches for height (52%), 13.13 lbs for weight (91%), and 16 1/4 for head circumference (80%).  As you can see he is growing like a weed and we couldn't be happier to have such a healthy happy boy.  He has already grown out of two outfits and it made me so sad to put them away.
As of late, he has started to interact with us more and more.  Smiling and cooing, as if he is having a conversation.  Every time he coo's, Miss O asks, "What did he say?", as if his coo's mean something in particular.
He was content as always at the Doc's office, only crying when he received his two shots.  The shots really set him off, but it was amazing how my voice alone quickly calmed him down and seemed to make everything better.  Liam and I have a very special bond that started the three days I spent with him in the hospital.  When I was pregnant, everyone who had boys would try to explain the unique bond a Mama has with her son and vice versa.   I now know what they were talking about.
Always looking around

Liam showing off his neck control during tummy time.  The Doc was really impressed how high and long he held his head up.  Even in the hospital he would lift his head up when you held him on your chest.  Liam is very strong all over which can make taking clothes on and off especially challenging.
Liam continues to be a good eater and sleeper.  Right now he takes about 32 oz of formula a day and sleeps accumulatively on average about 7-8 hrs a night.  We put him down to sleep at 9 pm and his first wake up for a bottle is around 3:45-4:30 am, he then sleeps to about 6:30-7:30 am.  Last night he woke up at 5 am and then went back to bed until 8 am, which is almost like sleeping through the night!  It took O 4 months to completely sleep through the night.  I thank my lucky stars everyday to have kids that are good sleepers.
The last touches to Liam's nursery are finally done.  Above Liam's crib I took down and re-hung the ultrasound pics on another wall, replacing them with three pics taken of Liam in the hospital and a sign.

The airplane sign is by KellyAvenue on Etsy.  It's an MDF board with a pilots chart/flight map that is stained.  The flight map actually displays the airways of South Jersey to include Voorhees, where he was born and Hammonton, where he lives.  The vintage inspired airplane, along with his name and year he was born is hand painted.  She did a great job and not sure what I would do without Etsy!
Another Etsy purchase and final touch is an airplane mobile by Dundryhill.  Liam loves to stare and coo at the ceiling fan, so we thought he would enjoy looking at planes flying around a cloud instead.  As far as we can tell he really likes it, it is only a matter of time when he is able to sit up and reach for it.

When Liam turned 1 month old,  Cindy Oldham was so sweet to come over and take pics of Liam and the family.  She caught some really sweet moments.  Reflecting back on these pics it amazes me how much Liam has changed in such a short period of time.
